Welcome to Bushey Cricket Club

Welcome to Bushey Cricket Club. We would like to thank you for stopping by and looking at our web page. This is your information portal to one of Hertfordshire's oldest clubs. In 2014 the club celebrated its 150th Anniversary. 

We are a family-orientated, and sociable club which is always on constant search for new Junior and Senior players to represent the club. 

JUNIORS
The club runs a successful Junior programme with an established pathway into Adult and Representative cricket.

In 2023, the following teams will be competing in the Saracens Junior Hertfordshire Cricket League at U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, & U14. All coaching is by ECB qualified coaches who are trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young people. The Training programme is in 3 blocks:

  • Summer (Apr-Jul)
  • Winter 1 (Sept-Dec)
  • Winter 2 (Jan-Mar)

SENIORS
For the 2023 season Bushey will have 3 XI's in the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League, and a Sunday T20 side.  Winter nets take place on a Sunday evening at Queens School between January-March. Summer nets are on a Tuesday evening at the Cricket ground.

ECB Clubmark

The club has achieved ECB Club Mark Accreditation, which is awarded to cricket clubs by the England and Wales Cricket Board where the cricket club is able to demonstrate that it meets the ECB Clubmark criteria as across four areas:

ECB Clubmark is an acknowledgement that we take these issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming environment for young participants in cricket.
